COPY AND PASTE

If your Windows program has a ClipBoard capability, you may COPY a rhyme from the screen and PASTE it into your word processor text.

To do so:

- Point the mouse at the beginning of the selected word.

- Press and hold down the left mouse button, drag the mouse to highlight the selected word, then release the mouse button. The selected word will now be highligted. (Repeat to change to another word.)

- Click on File/Copy, or in Windows 95 click the right mouse button to obtain the pop-up menu and select Copy. (This puts the word(s) into your computer CLIP BOARD memory. It does NOT remove it from the screen or the rhyme file.)

- Return to your word processor, move your mouse pointer to where you would like to insert the word, choose Edit from your Tool Bar and/or select Paste, and press enter.

Tips:

You may have only one word, or highlighted area, in memory at one time.

You may highlight more than one word if that makes it easier for you to select a word while in your word processor. (You will have to erase the extra words in your word processor.)
